Steps in Becoming an WNMU Student

1. Apply to WNMU online:

or find the application by clicking on Applications under the Admissions tab on the home page.

2. Submit official high school and/or college transcripts.

3. File the FAFSA form to receive a PIN number. The school ID# is 002664.
http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ (It takes 72 hours for your PIN to be sent to you.)

4. Make an appointment with us to take the COMPAS placement exam.
(Achievement of ACT subscores of 21 or better or an SAT equivalent of 500 in the areas of math, English and social science exempts you from this step. For transfer students, submission of a transcript showing completion of an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution or completion of a college level writing course with a grade of C or better and a mathematics course with a grade of D or better exempts you from this step.)

5. Make an appointment with an advisor to go over your degree plan.

6. Register for classes.
