Barbilophozia lycopodioides (Wallr.) Loeske

Family: Jungermanniaceae

Status: Native

Synonyms:
Lophozia lycopodioides (Wallroth) Cogn.

Barbilophozia lycopodioides is a large liverwort growing in tufts or interspersed with other bryophytes. The leaves are inserted nearly parallel to the stem and are 4-lobed. The ends of the lobes have 1-3 cell apiculi. The ventral leaf margins have 4-7 hairlike appendages. The underleaves are bilobed with numerous elongate appendages. There are no gemmae. We found Barbilophozia lycopodioides at upper elevation.
