Synonyms:
Erigeron superbus Greene ex Rydberg

Erigeron eximius is a glabrous upper elevation herb from a rhizome. There are about fifty rays per head. The leaves are entire. The phyllaries are stipitate glandular. Erigeron eximius can be found in moist swales in mixed conifer forests.
