Frullania inflata Gottsche

Frullania inflata is a small, complicate bilobed leafy liverwort with a bilobed underleaf that grows on rock or bark. The perianth is obovate with a short beak. It is monoicous-- antheridia and perianths occur on the same stem. The cell walls are straight without intermediate thickenings. ID of this liverwort by Dr. Paul Davison, University of North Alabama in Florence.
