Kallstroemia grandiflora, like Kallstroemia parviflora, grows in open, disturbed areas. It is also a prostrate viney herb with compound leaflets. The flowers are orange in color but the petals are about twice the size of those of Kallstroemia parviflora. Kallstroemia grandiflora and Kallstroemia parviflora are both found at lower elevation.
