Synonyms:
Linum perenne Linnaeus var. lewisii (Pursh) Eaton & J. Wright

Linum lewisii is a tall but rather spindly plant branched from the base. The leaves are linear-lanceolate and ascending or appressed to the stem. The regular flowers have pale blue petals alternate with the sepals.
