Monilophytes (Ferns)

The older nomenclature of "Ferns & Fern Allies" has changed. The larger portion of these plants are now known as "Monilophytes." The Selaginellaceae now belong to the "Lycophytes." These are all plants that do not have flowers. They sexually reproduce by means of spores.
