Rubus leucodermis Douglas ex Torrey & Gray var. bernardinus (Greene) Jepson

Rubus leucodermis has laterally flattened prickles. The leaves are pinnately compound. The fruit is purplish black. Rubus leucodermis is found in openings in wet forests.
