Synonyms:
Vicia melilotoides Wooton & Standley

Vicia pulchella is found in upper elevation Ponderosa Pine forests. It is viney and sprawling. The spikes of small white flowers are elongate. The fruits are stubby, pointed pods. The leaves are pinnately compound.
