Kappa Delta Pi, an education honor society student organization at Western New Mexico University, will celebrate its fifth anniversary since inception, on Monday, April 7. A “Great Gabsy” themed dinner and dance will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Graham Gym. The community is invited to attend this event. No admittance fee will be charged; however, a $5 buffet dinner will be offered along with a cash bar. Attendees are asked to dress in their best 1920’s themed flapper dresses and suits. A Best Costume prize will be awarded. Jazz music and flip clips of the ‘20s will be played. The event is sponsored by Kappa Delta Pi, the WNMU History Club and the WNMU Criminal Justice Club.
