Occupational Therapy Students Host Community Health Fair

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY STUDENTS HOST COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR   Students in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program are hosting a community health fair on Friday, April 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Graham Gym. Several sessions representing different health and wellness approaches will be presented throughout the day. Local organizations will be present with vendor booths. Refreshments and prizes will be given. Great Race Event: Mustang Festival

The Mustang Festival is a new community event in celebration of The Great Race, WNMU's biggest tradition. The festival will take place on Friday, April 25 from 4pm to 8pm at Old James Stadium and will feature live music, food vendors, community booths, and the "Children's Race". Children will participate in their own Great Race as they take off in custom built "go-carts" across Old James Stadium. The race begins at 4:30pm. Vendors registered to attend include: Mimbres Region Arts Council, Sabrina's Sweet Bakery, Road Dawgs (food truck), Partners for Success II, WNMU Soccor Club, WNMU Mariachi, Sigma Tau Delta, WNMU Criminal Justice Club, Grant County Republican Party, Morning Star, Brewer Hill Catering, WNMU Cheer Club, WNMU MEChA Club, Trail Wagon (funnel cakes and more) and Artesanos.
