Carlsbad Caverns camping, caving and more! September 1-3. Explore the Big Cave and the Lower Cave. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in an ongoing study of cave swallows, migratory birds that nest in the entrance to Carlsbad Caverns. This trip is unique and full of surprises.
