“Falling through the Cracks: Kids at Risk,” a free forum addressing some of the most serious issues facing our community – children who are abused, whose families struggle to take care of them, who end up in the child welfare system, who end up in the criminal justice system.

The panel will be moderated by Anita Roberts, CASA, Grant and Luna Counties. Speakers will include Richard “Andy” Anderson, County Office Manager for the Grant County CYFD office; Alena and Andrew Johnson, Foster Parents; Bianca Padilla, Program Coordinator, Juvenile Probation Office; Jeanine Jones, School of Social Work, WNMU. Jointly presented by the Grant County Democratic Party and WNMU’s J. Cloyd Miller Library and MEChA.

Thursday, November 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Miller Library. Free dinner will be served following the panel presentation.
