Abstract
The images on Mimbres pottery have much to tell us, and so does the pottery’s manufacture. Dimples, slipslop, and clapboard are all technical terms (honest!) for details of Mimbres pottery manufacture. And those details turn out to be really interesting! Some of the evidence may link early Mimbres and Hohokam, later evidence shows connections between Mimbres and Chaco.
