Join the Outdoor Program October 7 – 8 on a fantastic backcountry trip to White Sands National Monument! Hike into the White Sands Backcountry and sleep under the stars under a waning full moon.
White Sands is unique dune landscape in New Mexico formed as wind carries gypsum from the playas of the Tularosa Basin.
Cost: $20. Includes transportation, camp meals, park entrance, and backcountry camp fees. If you need food suggestions, or to borrow gear (backpack, sleeping bag, tent, etc.) please visit The Outpost in Bernard Hall. Students rent gear for free.
