Most Affordable Online Education
BestColleges.com has ranked WNMU|Online as one of the most affordable programs in the nation, ranked within the top five among institutions around the country. The evaluation calculated the cost of tuition, the average amount of federal aid distributed to WNMU students and the amount of debt accrued for an online education at WNMU.

Best Education Degrees
Intelligent.com asserts that WNMU provides the Best Education Degrees. Giving WNMU a score of 87.83 overall, the ratings site compared program strength, student readiness, return on investment, cost and student engagement to identify top schools.

Writer In Residence’s Book Wins Award
WNMU Writer In Residence JJ Amaworo Wilson’s "Nazaré: a novel" won the New Mexico-Arizona Book Award for Literary Fiction. Among the winners was "First & Wildest: The Gila Wilderness at 100," an anthology to which Amaworo Wilson contributed a short piece. A poetry finalist as Jack Crocker’s "The Algorithm of I," published by Mimbres Press of WNMU.
