Bromopsis porteri (Coulter) Holub

Bromus porteri is a perennial grass without rhizomes. The spikelets are not flattened and the first glume is three nerved. The blades are erect. The glumes, lemmas and pedicels are minutely hairy. Bromus porteri is found at upper elevations in openings in the Ponderosa pine or mixed conifer forest.
