Synonyms:
Anisantha tectorum (Linnaeus) Nevski

Bromus tectorum is a short, exotic grass considered a nuisance by many. The lemmas have 1-2 cm long awns. The branches of the inflorescence droop under the weight of the spikelets. It is an invasive throughout much of the wilderness.
