Glyceria striata is a wispy appearing delicate grass with spikelets with several flowers. The
spikelets are widely spaced.
The most dependable field characteristic however is the fused leaf sheath. Only Bromus, Glyceria
and Dactylis have a fused leaf sheath in this area.
