Family: Aytoniaceae

Status: Native

Synonyms:
None

The genus Mannia is recognized by its small but thick thallus, scales with two triangular appendages, pustule like antheridia on the upper surface of the thallus, and round receptacles fringed by purple scales at the base. We are working on identifying this particular Mannia to species.
