Mirabilis longiflora has a very long tubular white perianth, from which protrude long purple stamens.
The anthers are bright red when fresh. The cordate leaves are on short petioles or nearly sessile. The bumpy and slightly five ridged fruits are larger than the fruits from most other Mirabilis species.
