(Himalayan Blackberry)

Status: Exotic

Synonyms:
Rubus procerus auctores non P.J. Mueller ex Genevier

Rubus discolor is a European native that has extensively escaped from gardens. Its large panicles of flowers terminate the flowering stems. The leaves are compound but small. The stem is armed with prickles. Rubus discolor is found in shady, moist canyons. Thanks to Angie Barton for correctly identifying Rubus discolor for us!
