Sophora sericea Nuttall
Sophora nuttalliana is a lower elevation arid habitat perennial plant with white flowers in a raceme. The pinnately compound leaves have up to 20 leaflets. The calyx is light lavender. Sophora nuttalliana bears a superficial resemblance to Oxytropis sericea, but Sophora nuttalliana has distinct stamens and clawed petals as well as a stem. Oxytropis sericea is acaulescent (no stem), has fused stamens, and no claws on the petals.
