Waste Reduction

Students at WNMU are issued reusable to-go containers for food and drink, phasing out unsustainable and environmentally damaging Styrofoam products while supplying water refill stations throughout campus.

Green Infrastructure

Designated an official Tree Campus by the Arbor Day Foundation, WNMU works to plant 20 trees on campus each year through the work of student organizations like the Horticulture Club.

Powering Adventures

With four EV charging stations on campus, electric vehicles can charge up for free while promoting sustainable power sources aimed at securing a cleaner future and decreasing the need for fossil fuels.

Making a Difference

Students at WNMU not only find meaningful education, training and outdoor adventures but play a role in combating climate change by participating in real solutions that have a broad impact on the future of our world.
