The Office of Student Accessibility Student at Western New Mexico University will be hosting their first Grant County Transition Social on Thursday.
Local high school juniors and seniors, as well as their families, are invited to attend this ice cream social event taking place in the WNMU Light Hall Patio.
Statewide agencies and WNMU staff will be informing parents and students who hold Individual Education Plans (IEP) and/or 504’s about the support available to assist them with their transition from high school to higher education.
The Office of Student Accessibility Services guides incoming high school students with learning, psychological, and physical disabilities as they transition into the college environment.
