The Silver City Community Theatre will hold open auditions for the world premiere of A Twilight Christmas, a comedy, on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 between 6pm and 8pm in the Light Hall Theater on the Western New Mexico University campus. (Note: the entrance to Light Hall Theater is off the patio behind Light Hall directly across from the Campus Police office.)
A Twilight Christmas will rehearse in November and will be performed at the Light Hall Theater, Thursday, December 4, and at the Silver City Women’s Club on December 12. The cast includes ten to 12 actors of all ages, including three primary male and three primary female rolls and several non-speaking roles. Those interested in being stage crew members, prop builders, and greeters are welcome to attend. University students are encouraged to participate.
A Twilight Christmas asks the question – “What would happen if Santa and his North Pole elves had to comply with the same laws, rules, and regulations that apply to modern corporations?” A Twilight Christmas presents one possible scenario, as Santa, along with his Wife, his Head Elf, his Granddaughter and his Corporate Attorney make plans for the upcoming holiday season.
