Serna Conference Room
A Western New Mexico University Board of Regents meeting to continue discussing the 2019-2020 President’s Evaluation Form and Performance Goals as well as address new business such as the university’s Five-Year Plan for New Degree Programs, Mid-Year Budget Adjustment Request for Fiscal Year 2020, Fiscal Year 2020 Quarter 1 Financial Certification, Revised Five-Year Capital Outlay Projects and Institutional Capital Projects and Infrastructure Projects, Donation of Property and Honorary Doctorate Degree. Regents Janice Baca-Argabright, Dr. Carl Foster, Jerry Walz, Dr. Mary Hotvedt and Tim Stillman, will represent their respective committees. WNMU President Dr. Joseph Shepard, Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Jack Crocker and Vice President for Business Affairs Kelley Riddle will present new business items. WNMU Student Government President Darlene Chavez, Staff Senate President Michael Acosta and Faculty Senate President Dr. Scott Fritz will also give the board informational reports.
On Thursday, December 12, the WNMU Board of Regents will hold an executive session at 9 a.m. then a regular session begins at 10 a.m.
The executive session will be chaired telephonically to the Serna Conference Room of the Castorena Building (1000 W. College Ave.), though most regents plan to attend in person. The regular session will similarly be held telephonically in the Thomas B. McDonald Student Memorial Building Seminar Room. The regular session can be viewed here.
