The First United Methodist Church of Silver City, together with the First United Methodist churches of Deming, Lordsburg, and Mimbres, have formed the United Methodist Campus Ministry for Western New Mexico University. Their initial ministry is supporting WNMU veteran students and their friends.
The United Methodist Campus Ministry for WNMU hosts a dinner for WNMU veterans and friends on the first Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Silver City (300 College Avenue), which is a few steps from campus.
No need to register or join–just show up.
