Synonyms:
None

Yerba mansa is the only representative of the Saururaceae in the Gila Wilderness. This perennial herb prefers moist habitats and has inconspicuous individual flowers that are arranged in a dense spike. The floral bracts are white to cream colored. The leaves are broad and relatively thick.
