Asplenium trichomanes Linnaeus
(Maidenhair Spleenwort)

Synonyms:
None

Asplenium trichomanes is the smaller of our two common Asplenium species, the other being Asplenium resiliens. Asplenium trichomanes has smaller leaves and smaller pinnae. The pinnae are also much less long compared to the width, about 1-2 times long as wide. The pinnae are oval and less than 6mm long.
