Bouteloua eriopoda (Torrey) Torrey
(Black Grama)
Family: Poaceae
Status: Native
Synonyms:
Chondrosum eriopodum Torrey
Bouteloua eriopoda is easily distinguished from other members of the genus
by the presence of wooly-pubescent internodes on the culm, and by the stolons which are quite
obvious as they course over the otherwise frequently rather barren rocky ground over which they
travel.
