Cirriphyllum cirrosum (Schwägr.) Grout
Brachythecium cirrosum is a moderate to large species that is mostly found in the arctic. The leaves contract very abruptly to a long subula. The lamina are not or are just slightly plicate. The alar regions are blackish opaque. The leaves are concave.
