Brachythecium oedipodium (Mitten) Jaeger

Synonyms:
Sciuro-hypnum oedipodium (Mitten) Ignatov & Huttunen
Brachythecium oedipodium is a light green, mid-sized pleurocarpous moss. It has a strongly serrate
leaf margin almost all the way to the base. The acuminate tip is frequently twisted. The mid-laminal
cells are linear. We found this moss growing on soil at the cave entrance.
