Brickellia eupatorioides var. chlorolepis has narrow leaves that are less than 3mm wide. It grows in bright sunlight in dry creekbeds at lower to middle elevation. The upright flowerheads have about 30 florets each. The pappus is plumose and the phyllaries are pubescent.
