Cladonia coniocraea (Flörke) Sprengel
Common Powderhorn
Cladonia coniocraea is common in the Gila on decaying wood or soil. This lichen has olive green squamules that are white underneath. Greenish, hollow tapering horn-like stalks called podetia bear powdery green soredia.
