Synonyms:
Sisymbrium sophia Linnaeus

Descurainia sophia is found throughout Silver City in the spring. The leaves are at least bipinnate and the segments are linear. The petals are about 2mm long. The fruiting pedicels are ascending and the fruits are linear.
