Desmodium rosei is a spreading viney plant with three linear palmate leaflets. The flowers
are pink to purple. The pods, with constrictions between cells (loments), are ciliate edged and
stick easily to shoes and clothing. Desmodium rosei can be found at lower elevations in the Gila,
where it is easy to mistake it for Desmodium neomexicanum which has broader leaflets.
