Ditrichaceae
The Ditrichaceae are acrocarpous (vertical growth pattern.) The leaves have a single non-ridged costa to midleaf. The plants are greenish. There are no hair-points at the ends of the leaves. The leaves have a one cell border and are entire and lanceolate. The leaf cells are smooth. The most obvious feature though is the slit calyptra (cap or hood.)
