Drepanocladus aduncus forms loose brownish green to olive green mats on benches at the sides of creeks. The leaves are commonly falcate secund and long attenuate. The leaf cells are elongate. The shape of the leaf is variable depending on environmental conditions, but ours appear to be quite ovate at the base.
