Synonyms:
Erigeron delphinifolius Willdenow subsp. neomexicanus (Gray) Cronquist

Erigeron neomexicanus is the only tall, erect Erigeron in the Gila Wilderness. It can easily reach 24 inches or more in height. The leaves are sparse and deeply lobed. It is found at middle elevations.
