Erigeron speciosus (Lindley) A.P. De Candolle var. typicus Cronquist
Erigeron speciosus is a broad-leaved perennial upper elevation species. There are
75-150 violet rays and a yellow disc. The phyllaries are stipitate glandular but not hairy. Erigeron formosissimus var. formosissimus is a similar species, but the phyllaries are hairy as well as glandular.
