Triodia pilosa (Buckley) Merrill

Erioneuron pilosum is most notable for having very hairy lemmas, which also have short awns and 3 nerves. Unlike Dasyochloa pulchella, the spikelets are carried on leafless culms. The leaf blades are pubescent and conspicuously white margined. Erioneuron pilosum is found in the open at middle elevation usually in sandy soil.
