Euphorbia cuphosperma is a small to medium sized herb with linear to linear lanceolate, entire leaves. It
is found at higher elevation in moist habitats usually near stream beds. It is an annual with nearly sessile capsules. The capsule is strigose. Euphorbia davidii has glabrous capsules and dentate more oval shaped leaves.
