Euphorbia setiloba Englemann ex Torrey
Euphorbia setiloba is found on dry sandbars along streambeds and along the Gila River, frequently along with another Euphorbiaceae member, Euphorbia micromera. Euphorbia setiloba is herbaceous, with opposite, entire, very pubescent leaves. It is an annual. The most distinguishing characteristic are the white gland appendages which have three to five long, sharply pointed lobes which project well beyond the bright red glands. They have a sunburst pattern.
