We first found Riccia atromarginata as a new state record at Carlsbad Caverns National Park a few years ago. Subsequently,
we found it at El Malpais National Monument, and we finally found it in the Gila National Forest. Those earlier photographs are more complete and can be found here. Here are
habit shots taken of the specimen from the Nun Overlook in the Gila NF.
