Didymodon heimii (Hedw.) Kindb.
Bryum heimii (Hedw.) Dicks.
Desmatodon heimii (Hedw.) Mitt.
Tortula heimii (Hedw.) Mitt.
Hennediella heimii is quite the charismatic moss. It has pluripapillose laminal cells,
but a border of cells that is less papillose than the more central cells. There is a large hydroid
strand. The laminal color in KOH
is red. The capsule has no peristome.
