Caesalpinia drepanocarpa (A. Gray) Fisher
Hoffmannseggia drepanocarpa is similar to H. glauca with yellow flowers and pinnately compound leaves. Hoffmannseggia drepanocarpa doesn't have the sticky blackish glands that H. glauca has, the flowers are more widely spaced in H. drepanocarpa, the plants are more spreading and the pods are more falcate.
H. drepanocarpa is found on roadsides in the Gila/Cliff area.
