Husnotiella revoluta is a relatively small, arid desert dwelling moss. The leaves are short-ovate with a low adaxial pad of cells on the distal costa, which is usually spurred. The leaf is mostly one stratose. The leaf margins are usually revolute almost to the apex. Papillae are low to absent.
