Hymenoloma mulahaceni (Höhn.) Ochyra
Family: Hymenolomataceae
Status: Native
Synonyms:
Oreoweisia mulahaceni Höhn.
Dicranoweisia crispula (Hedw.) Lindb. ex Milde var. intermedia (J.J. Amann) Podp.
Hymenoloma mulahaceni has long leaves that can be slightly twisted when dry. They look similar to those of D. cirrata, but those of H. mulahaceni have longitudinal cuticular ridges that look like papillae on leaf cross section. H. mulahaceni is also multistratose at both the margin and in streaks in the lamina, while D. cirrata is at most multistratose on the distal margins. Hymenoloma mulahaceni is found at upper elevations in the Gila.
