Linum neomexicanum Greene
(New Mexico Yellow Flax)

Status: Native

Synonyms:
Cathartolinum neomexicanum (Greene) Small

Linum neomexicanum is an erect herb with pale yellow flowers on a strong stem. The leaves are narrowly lanceolate. Linum neomexicanum is the only yellow flax in this state in which the flowers are paniculate. Linum neomexicanum is found in middle to upper elevation Ponderosa Pine forests.
